VHF MARITIME RADIO CERTIFICATE
No prerequisite needed, but Maritime Agencies and Charter Companies require the operator of a vessel equipped with a VHF radio, to know how to use the radio, keep the radio on whilst underway and show proof of a personal certification, the ROC-M.
The course materials are available online and your final oral exam is conducted by a CanBoat Nautisavoir registered examiner..
